Hello,

This is Hussena and welcome to a brand new challenge for the month of April. This is a very special month as we are celebrating the 4th Birthday of our store Pretty Paper Studio and we have quite a line-up of exciting offers and giveaways throughout this month which we will be sharing on our various social medias, so if you are not following us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Blog, now would be a very good time to do so. 🙂

This month we have a very easy peasy and a favorite challenge among all crafters which is Anything Goes! You can create any project and link up to our challenge and you stand a chance a AED 50 worth of craft goodies.

For this month, I have created a Tag Album and I also have a step by step tutorial which I’ll be sharing in another post so be sure to drop by and check out the tutorial. In the meantime, here’s a detailed look of this tag album.

I have created a 5 page album and embellished it using die-cuts from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack and the base papers used in the album are from Graphic 45 Mon Amour Collection & Echo Park Teacher’s Pet collection.

For the cover page, I have colored a resin frame from my stash using a little bit of Gesso and Bronze Mica Powder from Finnabair by Prima Marketing. I have used flowers from Prima Marketing Tales of You & Me – Love Letters collection. I have added some leaves die-cut using a Prima Marketing die. The central sentiment die-cut piece is from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack and the small flowers on the corner are fussy-cut from the October Afternoon Sidewalks die-cuts pack and I have also fussy-cut the butterfly from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack.

The tag- die-cut is from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack and the flowers and the scalloped border are cut from the Authentique Infused paper pad. I have punched out the hydrangeas using the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Hydrangea Punch.

For the second page, I die-cut a tag from a Joy! Crafts tag die and the Eiffel Tower has been die-cut using the MFT Die-namics Eiffel Tower die from the Echo Park Teacher’s Pet collection. The flower is from the Prima Marketing Tales of You & Me – Love Letters collection and the silver ribbon is from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Metallic Trimmings pack.

For this page, the sentiment and frame are both die-cuts from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack. The flowers and leaves have been colored & fussy cut from the Crate Paper Craft Market Pattern paper pad using various colors of Distress inks. And the small banners peaking from the flowers are also from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack.

For my third page, I have embossed a crème colored cardstock using the Anna Griffin/Cuttlebug Brocade Embossing Folder and created a pocket out of it and lightly colored it using Vintage Photo Distress ink. The round scallop frame has been die-cut from the Mon Amour collection by Graphic 45 and so is the scalloped border. The two tags inserted in the pocket have been die-cut from a Mama Elephant die and I have punched out a circle from the Graphic 45 Mon Amour collection to create the tag re-inforcers. The silver ribbon is from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Metallic Trimmings pack.

For this page, I have cut-out a journal pocket from the Echo Park Teacher’s Pet collection and embellished it using various die-cuts from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack.The two tags have been die-cut from the Echo Park Teacher’s Pet collection and the Crate paper Craft Market paper pad.

For the fourth page, I have again fussy-cut a journal tab from the Echo Park Teacher’s Pet collection and used ephemera pieces from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack. The black frame is from a Prima Marketing Wood icons pack and the heart that has been embedded in the frame is an ephemera piece also from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack. I have added some silver ribbon from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Metallic Trimmings pack and the white lace at the bottom is from my stash.

I have die-cut a frame from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 18 die, and have embellished it using some mulberry flowers and die-cut leaves. The silver trim is from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Metallic Trimmings pack and the scalloped border has been die-cut using a MFT Die-namics die from the Echo Park Teacher’s Pet collection.

For the last page of the album, I cut out a frame using the Spellbinders Fluer De Lis Rectangles die and slightly distressed it on all the sides using Vintage photo Distress ink. The watering can with flowers has been fussy-cut from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack. The butterflies were punched out from the October Afternoon Sidewalks Die-cuts pack and the sentiment banner is from the same pack.

I have used a label ephemera piece from the Echo Park Spring Ephemera Pack to create a pocket. The butterfly is also from the same pack and the two tags have been die-cut using a Mama Elephant die.

Create any project as the theme is “Anything Goes“
Upload your entry at our Member Gallery and link us up in this thread in the forum “April 2016 challenge – “Anything Goes’”.
All entries are due by 30th April, 2016.
Challenge winner will receive a prize pack worth AED50.

A winner will be announced only if we have THREE new submissions.
All projects submitted for the challenge must be NEW and created AFTER the challenge went live.
