Hey, lovelies! It’s Jehan from Jecrafts back here with this month’s project. This month has been absolutely amazing with Pretty Paper Studio. They have released their very own clear stamp sets. These stamps are absolutely amazing and something you would not want to miss out. The stamps were designed by our DT member Anjali Rengen and Ingrid Lim.
It’s the festive season time as Ramadhan has already come in and Eid is on its way. I decided to do a few handmade cards using these gorgeous stamps and watercolor. I have made three different cards with three different sentiments all that will apt for this festive time.
The first card is a Ramadan Kareem card using the Ramadan Kareem sentiment.
First, on one of the folded card, I sketched out the elements of my card design. Then I applied a watercolor wash in a combination of colors for the background. I waited for the wash to dry. Once the wash is completely dried I stamped in the ‘Ramadan kareem‘ sentiment. I darkened the elements using a micron pen. And the first card is ready.
The second card is an Eid Mubarak card using the Eid Mubarak sentiment.
First, I took a folded card and cut out a watercolor paper base for it. Rest of the steps are just as the previous card. To add some festive feel I put in some Arabic gold from the Finetic Gold Palette. Also, I have just used a part of the Eid Mubarak sentiment.
The third card is a Thank You card using the ‘Jazakallahu Khairen’ sentiment.
This card suits this month’s theme “ FLORALS”. I painted the florals using Prima Watercolor Confections Tropicals palette. The border and wreath are painted using Moon Gold from the Finetic Gold Palette.
