Donna here to share with you my take on this month’s theme: Using die cuts on your project
I created this page with lots of die cutting involved. I adhered the die cuts first and colored them to blend onto the background.
I brushed Mod Podge to the cardstock first and mixed glimmer mist and mica powder to create first layer of my background. After it has dried, I brushed a mixture of watered down gesso and the rest of the first mixture. I used my heat gun for faster drying time. For the last layer of color, I used watercolors. I concentrated in the middle for a brighter hue of pink. Then I tapped the brush to create the little splatters. I cut about 1/2 inch around and mounted this onto another paper.
