Hello! Donna here with another scrapbook layout this month. As you already know, Pretty Paper Studio released 4 different stamps this month which were designed by our very own DT member, Anjali Rengen, and former PPS DT member Ingrid Lim. I was given two of these stamps and I get to use them into my project for today. I created a scrapbook layout and here is what I came up with.
I used a free cut file by Paige Evans and backed it with Twilight papers by One Canoe Two. I like using my precision tip glue applicator when adhering papers to back a cut file.
I also used one of the papers in the 6×6 paper pad to back one of the Maggie Holmes frames in my DT kit. I mounted the photo using a dimensional tape.
My base is plain white cardstock. To make it more interesting, I splattered white, coral and black mist sprays.
I also mounted the backed cut file with foam tape for a dimensional look. I rotated the cut file until I found the look I wanted.
I made rolled flowers using the folded cards in my kit. I stamped the background stamp on both sides of the card with blue ink. After using the stamp, I cleaned it with a non-alcoholic wipe and let it air dry.
When using rub ons, I like to cut them as you see in the image. The foiling in this rub on is so pretty!
Here are more detailed shots of my layout
I used the rub ons to adorn the left and right edges and also placed in random places in the layout.
Here’s how I used the rolled flowers. I strategically clustered them around the photo as you can see in the image. I fussy cut the word art “Home is where you are” from one of the cut apart in the Twilight paper pad.
That’s all from me today and I hope you liked it! Feel free to leave your comments if you have questions about my layout.
