Hey everyone! Zaneena here from AurorabyZ with my project for September. The theme for the month is ‘Stamptember’ and I have painted some easy travel themed bookmark combining watercolor and clear stamps.
A folded corner or a spare receipt – We have our own ways of marking our place in a book before closing it. Lets bring back the Bookmarks! How about a travel themed bookmarks? There is no one in this world who don’t love travelling and exploring the World.
I made these set of bookmarks using the new themed clear stamps launched by Pretty Paper Studio.
The following are the list of supplies used, followed by the step by step process on how to make them.
- Prima Marketing Watercolor Confections Watercolor Pans 12/Pk – Tropicals
- Princeton Round brush No.8
- Pretty Paper Studio | Travel Icons | Clear Stamp Set – 5.8 x 8.3 inches
- Sakura Gelly Roll Classic Bold Point Pens
- Canson XL Watercolor Paper Pad 12”x18”
- White Gouache Paint
- Deco Art Elbony Black Acrylic Paint
Step 1
Grab all the materials. Cut the paper into required size.
Step 2
Paint random patterns using Prima watercolor Tropicals Palette which will go with the stamps.
Step 3
Add detailing to the patterns painted with a white gel pen.
Step 4
Now to the fun part! Use your favourite stamps and finish the project.
And, the travel themed bookmarks are ready!
